About the Major

Applied English is an academic major that focuses on the practical use of the English language in real-life contexts. The program emphasizes communication skills, writing, linguistics, and professional English. Students develop strong abilities in language application for education, business, and media. Graduates can work in teaching, translation, content creation, and various professional fields.

Applied English Language Program 2024

Students of the English Language Department participated in the 2024 University English Olympiad: Students from the Department of English participated in the 2024 Universities English Olympiad, where the university ranked fourth in the world.

Attracting an elite group of English language professors: A distinguished group of English language professors, headed by Prof. Dr. Rashid Al-Jarrah, were attracted to enhance the educational process in the department.

English Day 2024: An "English Day" was organized in 2024, which showcased the students' English language skills in a remarkable way.
